My best buddy and I grew up together dodging homework while guiding Ness against evil hippies and angry moles, restoring the Triforce, and watching a whole lot of silly television. So, when he moved to Madison in 1999, and discovered the Quartet playing on State Street not long afterwards, he couldn't resist picking up a copy of "Chamber Music Like Burning" for me along with his.

Awesome stuff... it never failed to put me in a better mood than I was before I popped in the disk and basked in the nostalgia. Too good to keep to myself, really, as I passed it on for many others to enjoy. Alas, the last person to whom it was loaned didn't return it.

Thanks for including the sound files at your site. Nostalgia for the nostalgia--you made my evening! I'd love to get another copy someday.

glad to hear you enjoy it! good news on a similar note....us new guys are gonna record a 2nd album this summer, complete with some revamped tunes off the first album (those recordings are rough, what can you say the old members did it kinda quickly with a cheaper recording device) and also tons of new stuff.
